May's chapter networking and education program offered a look at Public Policy as it relates to sustainable design in the National Capital region. The program took place on May 26 at the offices of Holland & Knight, LLP.

During the program NCR Chapter Chair Shannon Sentman provided a demonstration of a new service on the chapter's website, the Public Policy Forum. Representatives from three local law firms who track policy and are providing the on-going content support of the new service offered uopdates on current policies and regulations in the National Capital Region. Program moderator was Chris Cheatham of Crowell and Moring. Speakers included Russell Randle of Patton Boggs (Virginia); Adam Baker of Whiteford,Taylor and Preston, L.L.P.
