Montgomery County Branch Launches in Rockville
by Tom Mawson, Executive Director
The NCR chapter now has a new Branch organization in Montgomery County. A group of volunteers met on January 28 at the offices of the Tower Companies in Rockville to officially launch the Branch. Three members of the NCR Chapter Board attended to support the new group. Brian Lowinger, LEED AP, Attorney with the law office of Brian M. Lowinger, LLC, was elected the first chairman of the new Branch. Likewise, the steering committee elected Dan Coffey of Therrien Waddell as First Vice Chair and Lisa London of Edifice Studio in Bethesda as Second Vice Chair. The Montgomery County Branch will sponsor convenient networking events, educational opportunities and LEED workshops for individuals who work or live in the County. Members of the Chapter who work or live in the County are automatically members of the Branch. Watch the chapter's Events calendar for announcements of upcoming events.
