NCR Chapter Establishes Branch in Winchester

by Tom Mawson, Executive Director

As evidence of the increasing demand for information about sustainable building design, the NCR chapter has established a branch to serve the needs of companies and individuals in the Shenandoah Valley.

The new Shenandoah Valley Branch of the NCR chapter is based in Winchester, Virginia. The new branch will provide LEED technical workshops, regular member meetings and many other activities for companies and individuals in Clark, Warren, Fauquier, Loudoun and other counties west and north of Washington, DC.

Cheryl Ash of Go Green LLC in Winchester has been elected president of the branch by the organizing committee. The committee met with NCR staff on Monday, October 20, to project programs and projects for the branch in the next months.

If you are located in the western suburbs of Virginia, contact Cheryl to get involved in growing the new branch. To contact the Shenandoah Valley branch leadership team, contact the chapter office at 703-483-6411, or email info@usgbcncr.org.
