FINAL CHANCE TO REGISTER FOR A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S GREEN 2008
More than 250 sustainable design professionals in the Washington area have registered for the National Capital Region chapter's "A Midsummer Night's Green," to be held on August 7, 2008 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm in the Atrium Lobby of the World Bank building.
Registration closes at midnight, Monday, August 4. Due to World Bank security requirements, all participants must register in advance.
The Chapter started the Midsummer Night's Green networking party in 2001 as a reminder to pause and celebrate summer and nature within our focus on creating a sustainable built environment. The event is the Chapter's signature annual event and is known for its unique, exclusive locations around Washington, DC. MSNG connects professionals in the design and construction industries. It also provides a forum for those interested in Green Building to meet professionals that can further their growth in this sector.
The event will feature networking, entertainment, an open bar, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts. Past MSNG's have been held in exclusive spaces including the National Association of Realtors Roof deck and the National Zoo Asia Trail. This year's event5 takes place at the new World Bank headquearters building, located at 1818 H Street, NW in Washington, DC.
The first annual Awards of Excellence program, which will recognize a Firm of the Year, Member of the Year, and Project(s) of the Year debuts this year during "Midsummer Night's Green." While the awards presentation will be a highlight of MSNG 2008, networking will remain the primary focus of the event.
Register for the event by clicking on the "Events" tab above. No registrations will be processed after midnight Monday, August 4th.
DUE TO SECURITY REQUIREMENTS AT THE WORLD BANK, WE CANNOT ACCEPT ON-SITE REGISTRATIONS; YOU MUST REGISTER AND PAY IN ADVANCE.
Members of the press are welcome to attend the event, and should coordinate their attendance with chapter Executive Director Tom Mawson at tmawson@usgbcncr.org, or 703-433-0707, for more info.
