To promote and recognize excellence in sustainable development, high performance facilities, environmental stewardship, community impact, and to highlight the green building initiatives and achievements of National Capital Region projects, firms and members, we present the 2011 Annual Awards of Excellence. This Call for Entries is for Project of the Year in each of the LEED Rating Systems, Member Firm of the Year, and Chapter Member of the Year. Applications are due on June 3rd (extended from May 20th), and the winners will be announced at our signature event of the summer - A Midsummer Night's Green - to be held at the National Museum of Women in the Arts on July 20th. NOTE: The original Call for Entries that was sent out via email did not include a LEED for Homes. The application has now been amended to include LEED for Homes.
