Green Tie Affair Brings the Sustainable Design Community Together

This year's "Green Tie Affair" took place at the stunning new Hines LEED Platinum 1200 Nineteenth Street, NW - a rare project that saved the structure of a previously existing building, all while re-skinning and adding three additional floors. Green Tie Affair was a joint holiday celebration supported by the members, and guests, of the DC chapter of AIA-Committee on the Environment, the DC chapter of International Interior Design Association, and the National Capital Region Chapter of US Green Building Council, that brought together more than 425 sustainable design industry professionals for an evening of networking and fun.
