EP-USGBC Design Mentor Program

USGBC National Capital Region's Emerging Professionals is partnering up with the National Building Museum (NBM) to take part in the NBM's Design Apprenticeship Program (DAP) for Fall 2010.

DAP is a design mentor program, focusing on design-build projects for local DC middle school students. DAP will allow EP members to work with local youth (ages 9 to 13 years old) interested in exploring and learning about different design professions and skills. Volunteers will share their knowledge of sustainable design/planning by mentoring youth with other design professionals in the Washington, DC Metro Area. Dates: Saturdays on: October 16, October 23, October 30, November 6, November 13, and November 20th. Time: 9:30 AM - 3:15 PM * Volunteers are encouraged but not required to volunteer at least every other weekend for consistency with the students. REGISTER
