A Midsummer Night's Green
by Tyler Coffey and Susan Donkers
DETAILS RELEASED FOR A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S GREEN 2008
You are invited to the signature event of the National Capital Region chapter of US Green Building Council. "A Midsummer Night's Green" will be held on August 7, 2008 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm in the World Bank building.
The Chapter started the Midsummer Night's Green networking party in 2001 as a reminder to pause and celebrate summer and nature within our focus on creating a sustainable built environment. The event is the Chapter's signature annual event and is known for its unique, exclusive locations around Washington, DC. MSNG connects professionals in the design and construction industries. It also provides a forum for those interested in Green Building to meet professionals that can further their growth in this sector.
The event will feature a networking forum, entertainment, an open beer and wine bar, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts. Past MSNG's have been held in exclusive spaces including the National Association of Realtors Roof deck and the National Zoo Asia Trail. The event will take place in the main atrium of the new World Bank building, located at 1818 H Street, NW in Washington, DC.
This year will feature the addition of the first annual Awards of Excellence program, which will recognize a Firm of the Year, Member of the Year, and Project(s) of the Year. While the awards presentation will be a highlight of MSNG 2008, networking will remain the primary focus of the event.
Register for the event by clicking on the "Events" tab above. Registration will close at midnight on Monday, August 4th.
DUE TO SECURITY REQUIREMENTS AT THE WORLD BANK, WE CANNOT ACCEPT ON-SITE REGISTRATIONS; YOU MUST REGISTER AND PAY IN ADVANCE.
Firms interested in sponsoring the event may download the Sponsorship Package, available at www.amidsummernightsgreen.com.
